James does an excellent job to create a program custom to your needs. He holds you accountable and because of this you really see results. I’d been lifting weights for 10+ years, began with James 2 years ago. For me he helped me to become consistent, to better quantify my activities, and helped me to achieve noticeable results. James stays up on new techniques and continues to bring in new methods. If you’re serious about bodybuilding James is your guy.
James is both highly knowledgeable, and very personable. This creates an ideal atmosphere for your fitness goals! For me, he reinforced the importance of functional strength, and not just focusing on image. He has a genuine interest and joy for helping people to become stronger, and for that.. I’d recommend him 10/10 times.

I’ve been working with James as a personal trainer for the last 3.5 years. I had been training on my own for many years prior and have seen the best results in these last years. He listens to your goals and designs strong programming to help you reach them with ease. He is constantly watching and correcting form to make sure you’re reducing injury risk. He is awesome at keeping you accountable and checking in, and is flexible with scheduling. Even after leaving Michigan, I continue to work with James virtually. He cannot be replaced and is the best trainer out there. Whatever your fitness goal, James will work extremely hard for you to achieve it.
